I've always been a fan of Italian artist Michelangelo and the quintessential Renaissance man, Leonardo da Vinci. Here are some examples of their art.

This is a web site under construction. Here I plan to post random ideas I come across. With an id and password, you will be able to post comments, questions, and random ideas you come across.

Here are some future topics that might appear here:

• What are the fundamental characteristics we need in a person who represents us in a legislative body?
• Is the climate change that we are seeing now a result of natural cycles or has the human industrial revolution disrupted the natural cycles?
• Does a ringing phone need to be answered?
• Is it morally wrong to allow another person to act in a morally wrong way?

Notice that we only discuss light, fluffy topics here!

Of course, there will be some conventions we will follow to keep things civil:

1. Please show respect for the ideas of others, even if you strongly disagree.
2. We learn from intelligent argument. To quote Monty Python:

   Man: An argument isn't just contradiction.
   Client: It can be.
   Man: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
   Client: No it isn't.
   Man: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
   

3. We're trying to evolve better ideas from the exchange, so take the time to read what others are saying.

Remember, the overall intent is to share and learn.

Goaltending is a normal job, sure. How would you like it in your job if every time you made a small mistake, a red light went on over your desk and 15,000 people stood up and yelled at you.
